Installing News Announcement Scroll on page through SiteOrigin Widget?

  • I just downloaded the News Announcement Scroll plugin to use on my website running the “Grow” theme. I have tried to get this plugin to appear on only one page of my site (I do not want it on every page) with no luck. I am currently trying to insert the shortcode [news-announcement group=”group1″] into a SiteOrigin Editor Widget to get it to appear and so I can move it where I want it. I’m having no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you!

    Which SiteOrigin plugin are you using? I am assuming SiteOrigin Editor Widget is not executing the shortcode.

    Go to WordPress Dashboard->Pages and select the page on which you want to add the shortcode and then insert the shortcode on that page and then check if the announcements are visible or not. If the announcements are visible then something is in conflict with SiteOrigin Editor.

    Have a check with it and get back to us.
