Installing Mailpoet 3 broke my site

  • Hello,

    I am a happy so far Mailpoet 2 user but I installed Mailpoet 3 to test the disabling of the tracking I am interested in…

    Installation went well and I was also able to Activate the plugin.
    I then switched to Settings and start import as opening page suggested; I got an error message I had no time to capture during the import and after that it was impossible to load my site nor the admin again !
    WordPress is 5.4

    I recover access to my site only after I renamed the mailpoet folder under plugins from FTP…

    It is second time I try to install Mailpoet 3 and I had quite severe problem each time; I saw in support section that conflicts happened quite often so I am not sure for now if I want to continue with Mailpoet 3 in future as I am not a geek and just need something simple that just works…
    I can do my best anyway to help you if you are interested.
