I’ve used this plugin in the past and it’s great. I went to install it on a website that is running the latest version of wordpress and it halts during install to a blank page, then in another tab i try to access the plugins page and it’s blank.

i have to delete the plugin to see the plugins page again. it doesn’t install.

Issue maybe with this version 3.8.1?

Thanks for the report, I will take a look and see if I can fix the issue; please verify/try with no other plugins active in case this is a plugin conflict.

I tested the install and activation process with WordPress 3.8.1 with WP_DEBUG enabled and was not able to reproduce the issue you mentioned. Can you test again with no other plugins enabled to see if the issue is a conflict with another plugin?

    Thanks!

    I get that it can’t locate wp-content.

    Thanks for the bug report!

It seems like the issue is something about my paths or a path assumption. I will review the code to see if I can figure out where the issue is.

A few questions that may help me find the issue:

Are using the default WordPress install locations or if you have relocated your wp-content folder? is your WordPress install at the site root or in a sub-folder? Was the plugin active after the warning/error or is it completely unusable?

    Adam,

I think it was just I was using the wrong FTP info for the account. We work with so many WP sites that I might have used the wrong info. I encountered this recently and realized I had the wrong path.

I’ve been using your plugin for clients because there are some sites that we don’t utilize certain sections and it certainly streamlines training when there aren’t visual cues that there is a section they might be able to go to, even through it’s not used.

Glad you find it useful, thats the exact reason I created it!
