• I see a lot of YouTube videos explaining how to install Word Press when you have a GUI at your disposal. My server runs headless with no GUI. Even Lynda.com has no video for this arrangement. So how do I, without a panel and GUI, install and set up the MYSQL database? Also what free panel do you recommend on an Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server? Any help ideas appreciated. I have a Webhosiing server and have people wanting work press, plus want to move my site to Word Press.

  • Creating a database via command line isn’t truly related to WordPress, but the folks at DO have put together a write-up on this: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-wordpress-on-ubuntu-14-04

Ok, looks like that information is for only one install of Word Press. What I have is 6 different Websites hosted on this server. I want to change my website to Word Press. A couple of others I host here want to do a Word Press site. So I need to install my word Press install in a directory called Wp-mikealrhughes. Another install might wind up being installed on Biblematters.com. These people have been wanting to install word Press. So that is the reason for my questions. What free panel is going to be the easiest to make this happen.
