installing buddypress crashed my site

  • hit activate and the admin screen went blank and it took the site offline, no errors. removed BP from my plugins directory and the site popped back instantly. ideas?

  • An error stopped any further processing (and rendering). Check your log files.

    i have installed the buddypress and after istalling a msg appears to log in and when i log in it take directly to my site and wordpress dashboard page does not appear how can i solve this problem

    Gursajan Singh, go to wp-content/plugins/buddypress and rename buddypress folder to e.g. wp-content/plugins/buddypress-xxx

    P.S. It’s better to start your own thread than add-on to a 10-month old topic.
