using templates

  • Hi, I’m new to wordpress and php and was excited to discover a starter theme that includes bootstrap libraries. I know this should be rather basic but I can’t figure out how to use the different templates that are included in the Template theme library but are not in use. I’m trying to build a landing page and would like to try to use the blank template. Hope this makes sense

  • Create a new page. On the lower right site of the editor window you can select the specific template for this specific page (inside the “page attributes” box

    works :)) I’m using the Full Width Page, only it seems it still has white margins, much smaller than before. Can I get rid of them entirely?

    I added this to the css editor

    .wrapper{padding:0 !important}
    .container{padding:0 !important; margin:0 !important}`

    and the only thing remaining unaffected is the container’s margin
