    Hello everyone,

when I go to the url where the installer.php is located, the wizard does not start, it is stuck and does not load. In the duplicator, I set it to create only the database package and it does everything correctly. I placed the installer.php in the folder where I want to duplicate the website together with the archive.daf file. I set file permissions to 777. PHP version is 7.4. Please help. Do I need to adjust something in the C-panel? Should I ask the hosting provider to do something? Thank you all in advance!

  • Hey @nan0lab,

Using the ‘installer.php’ file directly on a public server is not recommended. Some hosts will block running that file directly as it’s not intended for unauthorized access.

    A few things to try.

    1. Try to rename the installer.php to something else.
    2. If #1 doesn’t work then you may need to check the PHP error logs or check with your host if you are not familiar with where to check it from. Typically there is information in the log that will help isolate the issue.

    Hope that helps~
