installer.php file is gibberish

    I am running a WordPress site on my localhost (using MAMP) and am trying to duplicate it to a hosted server.

    However, the installer.php file that the plugin generates is gibberish. Taking a look at the source, here is the first line of code:

    • I tried using and not using mysqldump
    • I disabled .htaccess File In Storage Directory

    Not sure what else to do here. Is there some sort of decryption that I need to run this file through? What can be causing this?
