Installed Word Press incorrectly

  • I just installed WordPress a couple days ago. Uploaded 4 pages and 1 post and some pictures. Previews fine, but doesn’t come up when using the url.
    Hosting support says: “The issue is due to your website files being in a separate directory. It seems you have uploaded your WordPress to the /public_html/dir directory. Your site files will need to be in the public_html directory for your site to work with the domain. You can see now that you can go to jalynbargainshop.com/dir and see your site as it is on the server.”
    How do I fix this? Need precise step-by-step as I am not computer literate.
