Hello! I have installed Site kit on my WordPress site and it says everything is set up correctly but no ads are showing on any of my pages. I have searched the forums and nothing there has remedied the problem. If anyone has any insight I would really appreciate it.

@bmwolf I can see the Auto ads code has been placed on your side via Site Kit, so I can confirm everything is setup as it should be from the plugin perspective. Unfortunately we don’t have access to your AdSense account, there can be a number of reasons why ads are not appearing. I would suggest checking your account or using the AdSense Help Center and asking the product experts or community what may be the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will look at the help center for some answers. For each page on the site I am using a page template that I wrote with HTML. Could this be effecting the ads from showing? Do you have a HTML code block I can search for in the page source for an ad if it does show? Also, it says on my ad sense account that I need to add an ads.txt file to my site. Does the Site Kit not handle this?

@bmwolf You can check the source code for the below script:

Below that you’ll also see your AdSense publisher ID. You can also use this AdSense troubleshooter.

For the ads.txt aspect Site Kit doesn’t place this on your site.

The ads are by site url, correct? I just chanted oceanfrontproperties.com to be a WordPress site instead of a stand alone HTML site. The ads were working on the HTML site before I moved the domain root. I don’t need to remove the ad code from the old site, correct?

@bmwolf I’m can’t be sure how it works when moving from a HTML static site to WordPress, the AdSense product experts should be able to assist.

Is this the call that is supposed to get the ads and if so is there a reason I am not getting anything back?

They are showing on every page now but they are very large and always on the top of the page. I assume this is because I need to have auto ads enabled. Is there a way to move and/or make them smaller?

@bmwolf thanks for your inquiry. Site Kit places the Auto Ads code on your site and displays associated data in the WordPress dashboard. I see Site Kit’s code on the site currently. You can control some aspects of the way Auto Ads display via your Adsense account (for example the ad load and other settings), but since our scope is Site Kit, you’ll get the best assistance at the Adsense help center as mentioned.
