Installed Plugin – Still Can’t Connect via SFTP

    I’ve installed and activated this plugin, however, when I try to connect to an sftp account using the Woocommerce Customer/Order CSV Export plugin. I get this error message:

    Test failed: SSH2 Extension is not installed, cannot connect via SFTP.

    This is a WordPress 4.7.4 installation, I’m using PHP 5.6 with Bluehost, I confirmed they have SSH enabled, but not SSH2.

    Any recommendations?

    Any updates here will be really helpful!

    Hi,

    The issue here is orthogonal to this plugin, which adds SFTP/SSH support to WP’s plugin/theme uploader/updater. The Woo extension is using its own SFTP/SSH library, and isn’t going via WP’s filesystem layer which this plugin modifies. So, you’ll need to talk to Woo.
