    Hi

I saw that this plug in was compatible up to version 4.4 but did not see the lower end requirement. So installed the plugin on my 3.0.3 version of WordPress. Ironicaly I was trying to backup so I could upgrade!

Anyway, I now get a fatal error.

‘Fatal error: Call to undefined function remove_submenu_page() in /var/sites/s/my site name/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-backitup/lib/includes/class-wpbackitup-admin.php on line 219’

This error is preventing me from logging in or in anyway accessing the editors so I can’t even deactivate the plugin.

Please could you advise if there is some way I can resolve this.

    Many thanks

    debra_brc,
So sorry for the issues but 3.03 is a very old version of WordPress so I am not surprised you are having issues. To manually deactivate any plugin you can simply delete the plugin folder using FTP. Once logged using FTP, navigate to the wp-content\plugins folder and you will see the wp-backitup folder. Just rename or delete that folder(wp-backitup) and WordPress will no longer load it when you attempt to login to your site.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Chris
