    On the Genesis Framework

    Installed & Activated.

I specified the search id and API key for my paid Google Custom Search account and saved.

    Nothing.

Cleared our cache and cleared the browser cache. Tried search again- nothing.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks much.

  • same here doesn’t do anything.

Same here. Recently updated to 3.8. Not yet compatible?

    WordPress settings page is reporting:
“ERROR: “Custom Search API” service isn’t enabled in the APIs Console.”

When first installed, that was the case. Enabled now, but the WordPress plugin still reports the error (and search on the site still returns standard wordpress search).

May be that the API takes some time to work after enablement. Or may be not working.

I have installed “Google CSE”, requested a API Key and enabled the Custom Search API in the Google Console yesterday. But today, I still get the error “Custom Search API” service isn’t enabled in the APIs Console…

FYI, I did install first the plugin “Google CSE” before enabling the Custom Search API.

    V.

    Same here its broken
