Installed new theme and now I've got no pages?

  • I’m trying to change my themes in my website and when I activate the new theme none of my files are on it? In other words, right now my site has lots of pages, but when I activate the new theme, it has none. How can I get the new theme to have all my old pages?

    I’m switching from wootheme Canvas to optimize press theme.

  • Your pages are probably still there, you may need to place a pages list in a widget, or a menu in a widget or refer the the function wp_list_pages if you need to change a built in menu.

    Where would I find the list of all of my pages? I’m a newbie, so still trying to learn all the basics ??

    I know I can view in all posts and pages, but there’s so many. Is there a simple way to transfer all those to new theme?
