Installed in sub-directory, but login is still from root, why?
-
Hello,
I installed WordPress in a sub-directory so that the admin login would require targeting that directory (I was getting lots of malicious login attempts).
However, the login is still from the root. I followed the steps of updating the dashboard settings, copying the index and htaccess files to the root, and updating the index file with the sub-directory path.
I thought this would allow visitors to get to the site from the root url, but keep the login in the sub-directory.
Any ideas?
Thanks
