Installed but not loading automatically

  • Ive uploaded the files to my host & ran the install program. It loaded up no sweat. But now, when going to my web address expecting to see my Blog, I instead get my webhosts parking page, which is the index.html file located in my WP main folder.
    I have even changed the message in that file to confirm that is what is loading.
    If I open the index.php file, located in the WP-Admin folder, or the login.php file, it opens the WP login page in a new window. From there the whole control panel works as it should, except when I try to View Site, then it returns to the parking message – index.html
    Should I delete that file, or rename it? Or is there another file I should be renaming?
    I know im close but am out of ideas
