Installed but not connected

I’ve got a Dymo 450 installed for a client’s site, which has been working perfectly up to now with the free version of the plugin. Suddenly we’re getting the below error message and the site won’t connect to the printer:
‘Error: DYMO LabelWriter 450 installed, but not connected. Try to reconnect this printer.’
We’ve tried clearing browser caches, tried using other browsers, reinstalled/repaired the Dymo Connect software and also removed/installed the plugin to see if that would help.
Any help would be appreciated.
