• I’ve got a Dymo 450 installed for a client’s site, which has been working perfectly up to now with the free version of the plugin. Suddenly we’re getting the below error message and the site won’t connect to the printer:

‘Error: DYMO LabelWriter 450 installed, but not connected. Try to reconnect this printer.’

We’ve tried clearing browser caches, tried using other browsers, reinstalled/repaired the Dymo Connect software and also removed/installed the plugin to see if that would help.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Andy

  • I got same error. Did you got it resolved? I have dymo 550 Turbo.

I am sure that my connection to printer is working, becouse I even installed dymo connect sdk samples to my domain and I was able to print that sample file. So something wrong with this plugin.

I’ve got exactly the same issue – if you go into the plug-in you will notice it has not been updated for nearly & is no longer compatible with my current WordPress version, or any updated version. reduced to printing directly from the DYMO install, which is a bit disappointing.

I had the same issue while using the Dymo Connect 1.4.x software on Windows.
Downgrading to Dymo Connect 1.3.x fixed the issue, there must have been a breaking change in the API.

You can download Dymo Connect 1.3.x for Windows on Dymo’s website : https://www.dymo.com/en_CA/dymo-connect-for-desktop-v1.3.2.html

    Hope it’ll help !

latest dymo connect version(1.4.3) now works with dymo print.
