Installed but no comments are visible

Hello all,

I installed word press earlier this morning and having trouble with it. I have never used word press before and have created other websites and I am a beginner to web design.

I know that I should have an index file but it holds little information for me to understand what is going on.

Please help; I have placed on comment and created two pages and two posts altogether.

When going to the site all that is visible is the footer.

Please let me know what additional info you may need to assist.
