First off want to say I am really looking forward to this plugin, I think its a great addition to WC.

I installed the plugin and went to WC–Settings–FAQ and I get nothing. Just a blank screen. I decided to check out the WooFAQ and tried to Add a New but I didnt see how it links to a specific product.

I dont have Disqus installed but I do have another FAQ plugin (Q & A) but wasnt sure if that would interfere at all?

Please let me know your thoughts and hopefully we can get this going soon, thanks!

Hi there! Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

For the settings, I am not sure why you are getting a blank screen. The following information would be helpful:

    • Version of WordPress installed
    • Version of WooCommerce installed
    • A list of all active plugins
    • The name of your site’s active theme

As for the WooFAQs – these are not meant to be added from the Dashboard. They are meant to be added from the front-end.
If you visit a single product, you will notice a “FAQs” tab beside the other, built-in WooCommerce tabs. This FAQs tab has a form to submit a question. You can submit a question yourself, you will just receive two notifications – one for submitting the question and one to notify you when an answer is posted (by yourself of course).

Thanks for the reply and sorry for excluding that very useful info.

Hope that helps. After looking a bit I feel it may either be a theme conflict or possible a conflict with the Tab Manager plugin. Im checking a couple of things and if I find it I will let you know.

Hm…it’s always possible that it is a theme conflict, but I’m inclined to think that it is probably your old version of WooCommerce. I did not do any backwards-compatibility for older versions of WooCommerce. I will try downgrading on my end to 1.6.6 and see if that is the issue.

Do you have a timeline for upgrading WooCommerce to 2.x?

    (@flyingpeanut)

Yeah I kind of figured that too, I have been running into that for awhile now with a bunch of plugins. Its on my list to do probably sometime next week. I have to start trying it on a test domain first as I know something isnt going to be right with the upgrade.

Thanks for checking into this for us.

I did just happen to notice this as well on a random Post on our site

Fatal error: Call to undefined function theme_locals() in /home/innov7/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-product-faqs/includes/comments.php on line 34

    (@joshlevinson)

Yepp, already caught that. It will be fixed in 1.0.4, which I’m about to publish.

    (@joshlevinson)

Alright, 1.0.4 is live and fixed that fatal error. I’m still looking into compatibility with WooCommerce 1.6.x

I can confirm that this plugin is NOT compatible with < 2.0 at this time.

Just released 1.0.5 – now compatible with WooCommerce 1.6.6. Try it out and let me know!

Awesome. Updated and it appears to be working. Thanks a ton for doing that.
