    Thanks for your feedback about Prismatic. I work very hard to provide this free plugin to the awesome WordPress community. You can find extensive documentation (including examples and much more) on the plugin’s Installation page:

    As explained in the docs, your tags need specific classes in order for the syntax highlighting to work, and you need to enable either Highlight.js or Prism.js in the plugin settings.

    Code escaping without syntax highlighting, however, works on for all <pre> and <code> tags without any required classes, but does need to be enabled via the settings in order to work.
