Installed and cant log in

  • Definitely NOT awesome. Installed and setup without a problem but hours later when I went to log in to my admin panel I’m redirected to a 404 page not not found. Great. Now I can’t get into my site and have no clue how to fix what this plugin broke.

    EDIT: I opened my .htaccess and deleted all of the WP Security portion and was able to get into my admin panel. I disabled the hide backend. Is it now safe to remove this plugin?

    Let me rephrase the question: will simply uninstalling the plugin remove everything it’s done to my site or is restoring the backup I made prior to installation the better option?

    Not exactly, it won’t delete everything it has done per se. You have to do a bit more manual cleaning.
