Installed a theme and I have a ton of example pages showing in my sitemap…

I recently installed and have been working on a website using a purchased WordPress theme. This theme cam with a bunch (and I mean A LOT) of extra example pages that I am not using. I took a look at my sitemap before submitting it to Google and there are TONS of sample pages that I do not want Google to crawl.

What are my options? Should I hard delete them via FTP? Is there a plugin? Am I missing something else? Thanks for your time.
