• Hello,

I just installed the grunion contact form plug in, and then created a contact form on a page.

During the last 30 minutes, I sent myself two test emails, and had a friend send one as well, and I have not received any of them.

I use apple mail, but have checked webmail as well.

I do not have Akismet installed, but I would think this would make it easier to get email, not harder.

I did update the contact form to be sure emails were being directed to the proper email address.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Ellen

  • check to from email address. If it’s not on the same domain as site, it might prevent mail from being sent.

Do you get wordpress admin email? eg, when a user registers?

I’m not sure what you mean by admin email, why would someone register for my website?

The website is https://www.jadorelechien.com and the email is [ redacted, support is via the forums and not email ]

WordPress has the ability to register users. Some blogs use it so users can post comments or posts. But when they register, wordpress sends wordpress administrators an email telling them someone has registered. Or wordpress also sends admins email notifying them about comments. If you receive these, then it means that email is working on your site.

    check spam mail
