• I activated a Genesis child theme without installing the framework. Now what? I cannot even log in: https://thetaoofz.com/wp-login.php . It gives me the following error message: Warning: require_once(/nfs/c09/h02/mnt/132342/domains/thetaoofz.com/html/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/init.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /nfs/c09/h02/mnt/132342/domains/thetaoofz.com/html/wp-content/themes/vintage/functions.php on line 3

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/nfs/c09/h02/mnt/132342/domains/thetaoofz.com/html/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/init.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php-5.2.17/share/pear’) in /nfs/c09/h02/mnt/132342/domains/thetaoofz.com/html/wp-content/themes/vintage/functions.php on line 3

    Can this be fixed?

  • Log into your site via FTP and delete the child theme. Your site should revert back to the default theme and you should be able to access your site again.
