• Hi,
    My domain is
    hansbrautigam.com
    address
    https://hansbrautigam.com

When logged into my cPanel (Hostgator.com) to start the installation
of my blog, the adress was pre-written like
    https://hans.brautigam.com
(with a dot in the name?)

    Hostgator support (Jeff) answered me:
“I have removed and reinstalled your WordPress blog, using the correct domain name. Your username is admin. Your password is ? a.s.o.
The full URL to the admin area is https://hansbrautigam.com/wp-admin/. If you have any further questions, please let us know.”

Because of this interference by the Hostgator-support (Jeff) I have two Blogs of WordPress to login to as I told Hostgator when asking them:
“Why should Jeff interfere and manipulate that I now will have two blogs or pages to login to:

    1. Login ID: hansbrautigam
    2. Login ID: admin (Jeff changes)

They both have different passwords and two blogs to login to, as I expeirence it, when using the two login IDs and two different passwords to login to each.”

Now when Hostgator-support not fully can solve the problem they refer to WordPress-support for me to go to.

So I do need all help from WordPress-support to fix my first blog with username, hansbrautigam to be set on the address:
    https://hansbrautigam.com and NOT https://hans.brautigam.com – (No dot!)
I never had any address or domain like https://hans.brautigam.com

That address (with the dot) shall be erased and only the address based on my domain name, hansbrautigam.com, i.e.
    https://hansbrautigam.com
    shall be valid.

I only need and want “one blog” to be set on the address:
    https://hansbrautigam.com
with the username, hansbrautigam, that was my intention from the beginnig.

    Please help to make it!

    Sincerely yours,
    Hans Brautigam
