installation through hostgator

Right The same! please anybody from wordpress can help us? It’s a wordpress problem or hostgator’s? I installed and removed once and again introducing several different email’s accounts just in case, but I received no one, so I’m blocked ??

If you need to get into Hostgator’s dashboard you need to talk to Hostgator.

@findress – If you used the “QuickInstall” automated WP install on HG, you would have had to supply the username as part of that process. And while still on the QuickInstall page, and the install completes, the log in credentials are provided there.

So you can get the log in info two ways if you didn’t copy it down then ??

– ask your friend for it
– as you have access to the HG cPanel, reset them using this method:

And once this done, you access the site login here:

https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin or

https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login

@2ninerniner2, Sorry if I’m opening back the thread which have resolved because I not clear what you mention as I’m facing the same issue.
If not mistaken,when I tried to install WP using Quick Install on HG,we the one that provide the username and also password ?

Correct me if I’m wrong as I’m still new to WP.
