    I have previously installed WP without any problems at all. Started a new blog and after uploading files tried to set up and received this error:
    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/39/d176641878/htdocs/blog/wp-config.php:1) in /homepages/39/d176641878/htdocs/blog/wp-login.php on line 12
    I have checked the config.php file and there does not appear to be any problem with whitespace before <?php. Can anyone offer a solution please

  • Check to see if there’s any empty spaces or lines after the closing ?> mark as well. Also make sure you haven’t edited this file with something that puts in formatting lik eword or wordpad.

    Thanks drmiketemp I have continually re-uploaded the config file and it finally works!! did everything including holding down the delete button at the end of the file for 15 seconds, and finally it worked.
