Installation problem – Error 500

  • i just get a freaking blank page!!!
    i have installed phpBB on the server so it shouldn’t be a pain of mysql or php
    i used to get Error Can’t connect to database……after re-uploading all files all i get now is a blank page!!!

    is the url…….if some1 has any idea i can also give the login/pass for the site.
    plz plz som1 help me with getting wordpress installed.

  • Hey,
    Heres what you have to do :
    Use a ftp manager, or cPanel to go to wp-admin and CHMOD the upgrade.php to 755

    It worked for me.
    I dont know why this happens, but the error log shows that when the file is writable by others, it cannot be run.I dont know why.

    Try this solution…
