Installation of new site – Need help asap!

  • I built a site for a client on a sub-domain on my website at bbk.phoenixblue.com

    And I’m trying to move the files onto their server and upload it to their current domain at bleedbluekentucky.com

    I uploaded the files but I get a server error when I try to login (bleedbluekentucky.com/wp-admin)

    This is the first time I’ve done this and I’m not sure if I missed anything or what to do?

  • You need to follow all of the instructions in Moving_WordPress carefully and in the right order.

    Ok I was able to get into wordpress and get that updated. However it doesn’t look like all the files transferred over correctly..??

    If you look at the site (bleedbluekentucky.com) it looks like a combination of the old and new site.

    I tried following all of the steps correctly but obviously it didn’t work. Any suggestions?

    What files? Your site’s content is stored in the database
