I just installed WordPress (BlueHost/MOJO Marketplace) and the ZBlackbeard theme, but the front page isn’t the nice scrolling one-page site shown in the demos, but a very plain sample page.

    Sample Page
This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because…

I see the controls to edit the fancy page, but I can’t make it appear in the site. What am I missing?

Is there sample data I have to install? Is there a button to press somewhere? Is there another step, or did my installation fail? I tried it twice, on two separate subdomains, and I got the same thing both times. If my installation failed, is there a way to fix it manually? To install that page?

I wish I could post a link but I can’t do that yet. This is a FRESH installation that doesn’t look right.

    Hello Todd,

To get the one page frontpage you need to go to your dashboard -> Settings -> Reading and make sure “Front page displays” has “Your latest posts” selected.

    Best regards,

Thank you, Rodica! Does that always have to be done or did my installation get messed up somehow? None of the tutorials I watched mentioned that step.
