A most interesting development, First of its kind for me. A plugin conflict with a developer’s own plugins.

I just recently moved my hosting and your custom admin login plugin stopped working. SiteGround, my new hosting company, investigated by disabling all my plugins to find the one causing the problem. They reported it was a conflict with your other plugin rencontre and have disabled the plugin. I have never managed to get this plugin working anyway but I wanted to use it for my dating pages.

I think you are using a WordPress provided by SiteGround. It is perfectly adapted to a blog but it is less good for a site with management of members. For example, in multisite mode, the users table is shared which can be a problem. I do not recommend this type of installation with Rencontre. You should install WordPress by yourself, which is not complicated.

Don’t seem to be getting anywhere with this plugin. Theme Fusion (Avada) disabled all of my plugins then reactivated them one at a time. The issues I was having returned the minute they activated Rencontre so they left it disabled. I have no clue what the issue was other than the plugin is obviously not compatible with Avada. Considering that there are half a million people using Avada I would think that the developers of this plugin would be far more concerned that it is not compatible.

Did you try to activate only Rencontre with Avada, without any other plugin ?

What error code do you get ?

Tested today with Avada. No issue, no conflict, no error. Rencontre works fine.

My apologies. I have been involved in several other site issues and only able to return to my dating page today. I believe I’ve done updates as they were released though and now my dating page is even worse than it was before.

The region I operate in only has dumb sites like POF and LatinCupid so I would really like to get my dating page up and running. I did import the demo content but none of the photos show up in any of the profiles. I’m also wondering if this plugin functions like all other dating sites where you can search without becoming a member and only register and create your profile when you want to connect with someone?

As you can see I have been trying to get this plugin working for several months now, but failing miserably.

The area I live here in Mexico has some 15,000 Expats, many of whom are single. There is no effective dating site here other than sites like POF and LatinCupid, both of which don’t work well here.
