Installation failure: WARNING…

    I have been trying to run install.php without luck. The only thing I get is the following error message. If anyone could help, I would be very, very glad.

  • Looking at those errors and trying to access the wp-includes/functions.php file on your server it looks like you haven’t uploaded the files correctly.

    Have you made sure to preserve the folder structure in the zip /tar.gz file?

    Yes, I have preserved the structure. The files are neatly placed in 4 folders.

    Thank you so much Westi for taking time to answer my request. Your question made me look closer into the subfolders, and it turned out that the functions.php was missing in the wp-includes folder!
