Installation failed: Installation package not available.

  • Hello, recently i have moved a local site to another computer of mine. After moving the wp-content file, and finally the sql file in phpmyadmin everthing works fine for front-end. However in the Plugins->”Add New” i got 4 plugins acting weird, and also i tried installing but showing error “Installation failed: Installation package not available.”

    I suspect the issue might be in the database because when i use the old/original database there is no such error. Only after importing the new sql database that problem show up. I have tried repairring the database and clean install the wordpress still not working.

    Update, i tried to set wp_debug to true in the wp-config file and here i’m seeing alot of weird errors. I really want to fix this because alot of products has been uploaded in woocommerce including yoast seo. So redoing everything would take more than a month of work. Pls help fellow experts.
