Sorry, but Yoast SEO is not listed in installed plugins, however, the error message says destination folder already exists when I try to install it. It was installed originally when site was first built.
    Why this message?
    How do I correct it?
    Thank you.

?If you received an error that the ‘destination folder already exists’ during the plugin installation, that would indicate that either the plugin is already installed or that something went wrong during the installation which caused the plugin’s folder to be created but that it’s files are incomplete. As the plugin is not listed in WordPress, this would indicate that the former is more likely.

If you cannot install the plugin in the standard fashion due to that error, as a workaround you can also perform a manual update of the plugin. We have instructions on how to upgrade the plugin manually at the following link: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/#manual. You will need an FTP program such as FileZilla and your FTP details, which can be obtained from your host provider
