Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.

    I am trying to install stripe and keep receiving this error message – Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.I have not previously installed stripe on in my woocommerce store.

    I wanted to add that I am able to install other stripe plugins, just not the official woocommerce one and that’s the one I prefer.

    Hey there!

    If you are seeing that error, that means that the folder it’s trying to create already exists in your wp-content folder. You will likely need to delete it manually, using FTP or something like a file browser if your host has one of those. If you are not able to do this yourself, you can likely ask your host to help you remove that folder.
