Installation fail / White Screen

    Hi all,

    I’ve got a problem, quiet similar to the one Blackfred had. But his resolution does not work in my case.

    After upploading all the files i created a new db and filled the wp-config.php with the needed information.
    Next step would be to run the install.php but i get a blank page.

    My Provider (hoststar.ch) is running:
    MySQL 4.1.22-standard
    PHP Version 4.3.11
    mod_rewrite is loaded (see phpinfo)

    Main Page would be at https://maer.li/main/
    Unfortunately im not able to access any log files. So I’m quiet helpless atm.

    Any suggestions at this one?

    Heya,

    I wrote an E-Mail to my Provider and asked them to check the php logs.

    An hour later I got an answer, saying the memory limit in php.ini is to low. They increased it to 32MB. Now it’s working perfectly.
