• Ok, I keep getting a strange error.

I am installing WordPress on Webmin.

    My default server is /var/www/html

and my wp-admin file is located at

    /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-admin

Apache and Mysql are running fine.
I believe I have configured PHP.
    It is configured in:
    /etc/php.ini

I succesfully ran an index.html file also

When I uploaded WP I forget to rename the wp-config-sample file, and I don’t think I had populated it either.

When I went to https://www.mydomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin I was offered the configuration screen, which I tried to configure, but it didn’t work.

Then I backtracked and renamed and completed the Wp-config file

Now when I go to my https://www.mydomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin i just get a blank white screen. Any ideas?

I believe all my config details and relevant databases and users etc are correct, because they are all copied and pasted.

i put “localhost” in the fourth box…which is what I have in my /etc/hosts file

  • My thanks to all and in especial to govpatel, that I have managed to overcome the issue, by opening another account with WordPress.com and added my own domain for mapping. Also, changed the servers on my website host.
I don’t know if all that contributed for me to re-gain control of my admin dashboard on www.remarpro.com, but I have it now and it’s working.

Again, thank you all for your help.
