Installation

  • The Installation instructions seem fairly simple, however I am stuck and would appreciate your help.

    Upload the WPide folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
    Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
    Access WPide by clicking the WPide menu item in your main administration menu

    After uploading the Wpide folder to the plugins folder of my wordpress site. The Wpide plugin doesn’t appear in wordpress admin pluggins area. Any suggestions for me? There is nothing to activate.

  • I installed the plugin through WordPress admin panel. I recommend trying that – I almost never use any other way.

    Like Daedalon says, it’s easiest to just search and install from the admin rather than uploading thing manually.

    You need to extract the files from the zip folder and you should end up with a folder called “WPide”, it’s that folder that needs to be uploaded to the plugins directory and make sure the web server user can view those files.

    I downloaded this plugin but I cannot find the settings on the admin settings page.. although the plugin is activated where is the settings tab?
