installation

  • I have uploaded everything and was actually at my dashboard, but when I go to view site I get a blank screen. I had some other things on the site and thought I had gotten rid of them but may have hit the wrong button. Help!!

  • IS there anyhting in your webserevr’s error logs?

    Is there anything when you look at the outputted page source? In IE, it’s View -> source.

    Check to see if it’s a memory problem.

    I am a total newbie. I am sorry but I do not understand what you mean. I can tell you that I tried to set up another blog and it was almost complete but when I tried to bring it up I got this:

    Can’t select database
    We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the mymarria_wordpress database.

    Are you sure it exists?
    On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?
    If you don’t know how to setup a database you should contact your host. If all else fails you may find help at the WordPress Support Forums.

    I know this is suppose to be easy but twice. Should I delete these sites and ty again?
