Install WP same host new domain

  • Hello everyone,

    I have two domain names under one host. I am trying to install WP for the new domain under the same host. The error i receive is Internal Server Error 500.

    the new datebase and users are created in the cPanel. the user has all permissions. the config.php is adjusted.

    I ran this procedure twice with different names.. Still Internal Server Error 500.

    It states:
    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected]
    instead of: [email protected]

  • The 500 error will usually dump a report in your webserver’s error logs. I’d check there first.

    Make sure to check your CHMOD of the “wp-admin” folder. I just ran into the same problem, and that was the source.
