    Hello,

I’like to use a Woocommerce on my WordPress website but…

    …My WordPress version is 4.6.3.

    This is the first problem:
    1) Is it upgrade WordPress to version 4.8.2 is safe?

    The second problem is:
    2) I’d like to install woocommerce but I know that woocommerce is changing websites appearance and overriding the templates.

I need to use woocommerce on my only one page. I will put on this one page one product and I’d like to sell this product.

How can I install and configure woocommerce in this way? I’d like to avoid overriding the templates/ all my website.

I need to sell only one product or two from my website.

    Please give me some ideas.

    Regards

Probably You don’t WooCommerce to sell two products, a PayPal cart is enough..

    Hi Francesco,

But I’d like to upgrade to 4.8.2 version and I’m asking if it is safe?

I need to install WooCommerce and I don’t wanna install only PayPal cart. So how can I manage?

WP 4.8.2 is more safe than 4.6.3, You can install WooCommerce if You theme is compatible and sell just two products in the shop page..

    Hi Francesco,

    1) Ok but I’m not sure that upgrading version it will cause problems. What do you think?
I’m talking about only upgrading WordPress version.

    2) I know that appearance of this website will be changed but I don’t want change all pages and menu. Is it possible to do in this way?

    Hi,

    (1) Yes, it is completely safe to upgrade to version 4.8.2, infact this version is safer than 4.6.3, However, we’ll advise you to still take a backup before you go ahead with the upgrade process.
    (2) To keep the appearance of your store menus and pages intact, simply localize your woocommerce template in the current theme. After that, if you upgrade woocommerce,it will not effect the layout of your pages.

    Hi,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
