install went fine until the upgrade- can’t login
-
I installed wordpress this morning and it went just fine. Installed Automatic Upgrade before anything else was done and all went fine as I upgraded to 2.6.1. After the upgrade I can’t log in, it keeps taking me back to the login page. This is my third install, but the first time I ever installed in front of an existing site. I thought maybe the index.html and index.php might be an issue because of AddHandler to read php as html so I removed the existing index.html and left only the index.php. That didn’t help so I put the old index page back up. I am getting the following server errors but cannot access the error logs:
13227 /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel ./frontend/myhost/cp/errors.html Today at 10:22 Kill Process / Force Kill Process
13237 sh -c find /home/mysite/public_html -name error_log 2>/dev/null Today at 10:22 Kill Process / Force Kill Process
13238 find /home/mysite/public_html -name error_log Today at 10:22 Kill Process / Force Kill Process
13705 /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel ./frontend/bluehost/cp/errors.html Today at 10:22 Kill Process / Force Kill Process
13718 sh -c find /home/mysite/public_html -name error_log 2>/dev/null Today at 10:22 Kill Process / Force Kill Process
13719 find /home/mysite/public_html -name error_log
when I try to access error logs.I have removed the canonicalization redirects from the htaccess file in case that was the problem, now I don’t know what else to try. My site is showing fine, as iff I had never installed WordPress, but that’s not what I was trying to do.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
