  • Unzip the file on your local computer, which should give you a folder called “stockholm” (or something alike) with all the theme files in it.

    Then upload the entire folder and its contents to your server/host, into the /wp-content/themes/ folder.

    After that, you should see the theme in your list of installed themes.

    Also, ask the hosting supplier why it’s a WP issue, if they can give more details about that. I have my doubts about it.

    Your host is fobbing you off. An internal server error is an error generated by the server and will be logged. Neither wordpress or a theme will generate a internal server error.

    Actually simple mistake in PHP code in a theme template or plugin will easily trigger an Internal Server Error 500.
