Install problem – MAMP, on Mac OS/X (postdrop: warning: mail_queue_enter: cr…)

    Hi,

    I’m trying to install WordPress on my local computer, I’m using MAMP on a Mac OS/X.

    When I’m on the page: /wp-admin/install.php after submit, I keep getting this error in my apache_error_log:
    postdrop: warning: mail_queue_enter: create file maildrop/455688.1343: Permission denied

    Guess it’s trying to send me some kind of (conf) e-mail, but seams like my apache or MAMP don’t like sending it ??

    Anyone have a hint, how it could get this to work? (By the way, I can see that it perfectly have created all the new tables in the background!)

    Okay, I found a solution for my self!

    Make sure that MAMP is own by “system” and NOT you (as of you, as “MyUser”), when it starts up, then it has access to postdrop ??
