Install of wordpress working but notworking

  • Hi,
    I have my own server at os x quite old but still chugging away, love wordpress but can’t get it to run, or is it running.
    I log on through admin panel thats fine hit enter all i see is the folder directory, If i then go to wp-admin/admin.php load that, blank page, help would be appreciated, I know there are variables that may stop it working but why can i see the front login page but nothing else.

  • Have you tried:

    – reinstalling WordPress from a fresh download

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.
