@sterndata Thanks Steve. Appreciate the plugin name. Is there a way to activate it without a plugin. The sites keep hitting server memory limits so want to have as few plugins as possible.

@sterndata. Thanks. Took your advice and went plugin route. Installed Google Analytics by MonsterInsights instead as it has more installations. Does the one you mention have more features?

Thanks Steve, it has been five days since I installed this plugin but my Analytics page is showing zero activity on the site while my Statcounter is reporting hits on the site. Any ideas on this?

I see the code on your site, so best you check with Google.
