    Got this error (see below). I had the plug in installed but got a critical error when I updated to the new wordpress version (I THINK). Or when I updated the plugin. I see it hasn’t been tested with the latest version of WP. Anyway it broke my site so I disabled it in the file directory, then deleted it from the WP back end, including all the old backup folders. Then I attempted to reinstall it.

    Hello @fireflywebs
    The issue should not be related to BackWPUp or WordPress update, but rather your server environment, since you are running WordPress on a Windows IIS server so that may cause some incompatibility issues.
    I would suggest you first manually install the plugin/update WordPress again if it not works, just contact your hoster and they should resolve the issue for you.
