Install Error

    Here is the error message I am getting. Please help!

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    This is a fresh install on my server. I have added the databases and updated the config file. Does anyone have any solutions?

    I just installed WP today for this account. I own a private server and have WP installed on other domains that are hosted on this server and they work just fine. Never got this error message before. I have setup all of the users and databases, modified the config file and done everything I can think of and still will not install. Please let me know if you need any more infortmation to help me with this issue. Thanks in advance!

    So this error occurred when you tried to run wp-admin/install.php, yes? Have you tried with a fresh download of WordPress?

    yes I have tried a fresh install….deleted and re-created the databases too.

    youre doing it wrong.

    read your error log like the first message tells you to.
