Install Custome Theme

    I’ve got a theme which I’ve downloaded and customised. I uploaded the zip file of the theme under “public_html/wp-content/themes” and then extracted all the files. I then tried to activate the theme I had just uploaded by logging into my WordPress dashboard and going to the Presentation tab. What I found was the two default themes, but not the one I had uploaded.

    How do I install and activate this custom theme in WordPress? Thanks.

  • Delete all your other themes, except for the default one. Extract the your theme on your PC, and then upload onto your server in a folder (which has all index.php, header.php, comments.php and other files).
