Install created errors, deletion unsuccessful

  • Hi, I have a site at https://junkiesrising.com that I tried to install the Bookings plugin into a couple days ago. Installation said “successful” but a few error codes sprouted at the top of my dashboard. I then attempted to uninstall, only to get a message saying “deletion unsuccessful because of errors.” Now, though, when I go into my Plugins list, Bookings is gone. My site appears to be ok, but then it’s hard to test every little thing. I don’t understand the errors… I assumed I’d be able to attach a screenshot, to show you specifically what they are, but I don’t see a way to do that. If showing them in public is ok, I can post them to FB or instagram and link, if that would help someone help me figure this out.

    I’m about to switch hosts and do not want to transfer a broken site. I was hoping to use the BackupCreator plugin I bought, but that doesn’t seem to be working on the new host either so I may be stuck with this installation with the errors that I can’t seem to locate or correct.

    If the plugin is no longer listed in your plugins, it definetely means the files have been deleted and you wont’ have any interaction. Very strange that you got errors during installation and uninstallation though, to be honest, haven’t seen that one yet, it’s a very light footprint plugin so installation is normally a breeze.

    zingiri, I did open a ticket there too. I didn’t see that forum until after I’d posted this one. I’m using the Beauty Clean Free theme, maybe it was an incompatibility there?
